This Case is a tool for guiding a joint in a shutter slide.
It has various functions:
- A combination punch/matrix for bevelling the runner and cutting the gasket.
- 2 pins crimp the runner to stop the joint in translation.
- 1 guide, accompanied by 2 aligners, are used to reference the runner and flange it.
Each part of the tool is pinned, as guiding the joint requires very precise clearance.
The parts are machined in Ra 1.6 and nitrided to facilitate the sliding of the joint on the walls and eliminate jamming (machine jamming).
