This set of two rotating tools allows the referencing and holding in position of components during welding operations.
The tool integrates a part indexing function to guarantee an optimal welding position of the components ('melt pool' in horizontal position).
A function of detection by a photocell of the presence of tube allows to discriminate different types of cap.
The clamping of the main component is ensured by a set of 4 rotary cylinders.
The tool is equipped with a rotating joint to allow the ways of the required energies: cooling water for the copper blocks, inerting gas, pneumatic clamping energy.
This tools are mounted on a revolver table and the welding of the components is carried out by a robotized unit (customer installation).
